A Film by: Aryana Farshad

Nine months in production in Iran and 2 years in Post-Production in US, MYSTIC IRAN is the story of Iranian-American filmmaker, Aryana Farshad’s life changing journey back to her homeland in search of ancient spiritual and Sufi rites, long hidden from the Western world. According to Farshad, “Today we live in a global climate where many equate the cultures of the Middle East with fear and terrorism. My documentary reaches out to people who wish to understand the deep roots of spiritual transformation and equality that form the heritage of this ancient land.”
